We at IRFC, diligently observe the Vigilance Awareness Week every year, wherein, we undertake multiple outreach measures to create awareness amongst not just our employees & stakeholders but the society at large, aimed at creating a transparent, accountable and a corruption-free governance.
The Vigilance Awareness Week at IRFC was zealously observed from 27th October to 2nd November, 2020 with the theme सतर्क भारत, समृद्ध भारत (Vigilant India, Prosperous India). We undertook a series of activities aimed at encouraging all stakeholders to collectively participate in the preventive vigilance measures and fight against corruption, commencing with the Integrity Pledge being administered to all the employees of the organisation.
Over the week various other synergistic activities were undertaken. It included a virtual informative session of IRFC employees with the Chief Vigilance Officer, wherein he advised on how Integrity is a way of life and is an indispensable part of our work life. It was followed by dissemination of the Integrity pledge to our extensive network of investors, slogan writing competition as well as an Essay Writing competition and sponsorship of an Integrity Club at a Government school, that witnesses an enthusiastic online participation of the students.
